What is a Founding School?
We are opening Monteeno to an initial group of secondary schools during the 2026/27 academic year so we can see how the programme works in different school settings and improve it with direct feedback from teachers.

What we ask in return
We ask participating schools to:
- nominate one member of staff as the main Monteeno contact;
- use Monteeno with at least one pupil cohort or year group during the academic year;
- allow us to analyse anonymised programme usage and completion information;
- provide structured feedback on the programme and school experience.
There is no requirement to provide a public testimonial or case study. We may ask successful participating schools separately whether they would be willing to do so.
What happens after 2026/27?
There is no obligation to continue using Monteeno after the Founding Schools year. Before the end of the academic year, participating schools that want to continue will be given details of the school licence available for the following year.

How much does the Founding Schools Programme cost?
There is no school licence fee for selected Founding Schools during the 2026/27 academic year.
Which age groups can use Monteeno?
Monteeno contains programmes designed for pupils aged 11–18, with content becoming progressively more advanced as pupils get older.
Do teachers need to create lessons?
Monteeno provides structured digital learning content, activities, quizzes and assessments. Schools can use it for independent learning or incorporate the material into teacher-led provision.
Do pupils need email addresses?
No. You paste your class list and Monteeno creates an account for each pupil with a username and password you hand out. No pupil email address is collected or required.
Can we use Monteeno with only one year group?
Yes. Founding Schools are expected to use the programme with at least one meaningful pupil cohort; schools do not need to roll it out to every pupil immediately.
Is Monteeno a regulated qualification?
No. Monteeno certificates are certificates of completion, not regulated qualifications.
Does Monteeno sell financial products to pupils?
No. Monteeno is an educational platform and does not sell financial products to pupils.
What happens after the free year?
There is no obligation to continue using Monteeno after the Founding Schools year. Before the end of the academic year, participating schools that want to continue will be given details of the school licence available for the following year.
